How do I add points & redeem rewards for customers who buy or pay in-store?

You can scan customer QR codes to award them their points or redeem loyalty rewards.

Please ask your customer to log into the app using their username and password. 

 

You can scan from the 'Register' app if a customer is placing their order in-person by clicking the barcode button before payment.  The Clover station may pop up a dialog asking to add a new item to inventory.  Please press "cancel", the customer will still receive loyalty points.

You can scan a pick-up order from the 'Hazlnut' app by clicking 'View Orders', tapping on the order, and clicking 'Scan Loyalty & Rewards'. 

★ Make sure ALL items are in the cart before scanning. Any items added to the cart after scanning, the customer will not earn points for. 

★ Make sure the item(s) the reward applies for are in the cart BEFORE scanning the code. If the code is scanned before, the customer will not receive the proper discount.

  • Please tell your customer: At the top of the side-bar menu click on  'Loyalty Rewards. '
     
    • Points:
      • Under 'Earn' a QR code will appear that can be scanned by the Clover.
    • Rewards:
      • If they have already redeemed the reward and added it to their account, Select 'View Rewards and then click on the reward they would like to use.  Then scan the barcode.

      • If they have not already redeemed the reward, 'Under ‘Redeem’ choose the reward they would like to use and scan the QR code the same as above.
