KDS Integration

KDS screens should function just like a standard printer and need to be properly set up through your Clover Printers app. If you’re having trouble, we recommend reaching out to your KDS vendor, as they may need to configure the system to recognize the app order types.


Here are tips for two commonly used KDS systems:

  1. Re-Sync

    1. Go to Settings > Clover POS connection settings

  2. Locate your merchant ID (alphanumeric), delete the last digit, then press OK

    1. It will give an error—add the digit back in and press OK again

  3. Go to Restaurant Settings > Order types visible on this station

    1. Select the order types you’d like to appear

  4. Make sure Orders entered from device is set to include all devices
