Customers can place orders between 10 minutes - 14 days in advance!
Enable future ordering if you would like customers to be able to order far out in advance. You can turn Future Ordering on/off for specific order types in the Order Type settings with the 'Allows Future?' toggle:
Printing
You have the option to change the printing settings for your future orders from the 'Advanced Settings':
- By default, we will always print orders "on-time" with just enough time to prepare the food based on your prep-time
- Turn on "Print Future Orders Immediately?" if you would like us to print all orders as soon as they are received, regardless of how far in advance.
- With this turned on, please be sure you keep careful record of your advance orders so you don't accidentally miss someone's order.
If you are set to print based on prep time, but you are still seeing some future orders printed immediately: This is because one or more of your items in that order had additional item-level prep time.
"Additional Prep Time (minutes): Tickets containing items with additional prep time will be printed immediately, regardless of quoted pickup time."
Hours
Orders can only be placed to be picked up during your hours of operation or to be delivered during your delivery hours. But, your customers will be able to view the menu and order from it 24/7.
Available Items
The only items that may not appear on the menu when ordering outside of your regular hours or ordering in advance are categories with special start & cut off times...
Keep in mind, future ordering will allow customers to order breakfast items at dinner time and vice versa. The special category times will only show or hide the category based on the time of day and day of the week.
